Paladin instructors are DOJ-certified and are recognized by the Contra Costa County Sheriff.
INITIAL PERMIT
Steps:
Submit your CCW Initial Permit application to the Sheriff.
Complete Paladin Tactical's CCW 1 course (8-hours).
Submit your course certificate to the Sheriff.
Conduct your official live-fire qualification with the Sheriff.
RENEWAL PERMIT
Steps:
Submit your CCW renewal application to the Sheriff.
Complete Paladin Tactical's CCW 1R course (4-hours).
Submit your course certificate to the Sheriff.
Conduct your official live-fire qualification with the Sheriff.
QUALIFICATION COURSE
Target: B-27 Target
Stages:
5 yard line: 6 rounds in 5 sec
7 yard line: 6 rounds in 10 sec
10 yard line: 6 rounds in 15 sec
Total: 18 rounds
Passing Score: 126/180 (105 with 5 shot)
Maximum number of pistols: 2
Official qualification must be conducted by the CCC Sheriff's Office
